Amy Schumer’s new film about female comedians is ‘comedy as far as I’m concerned’

A feminist comedian who rose to prominence in the 1990s is coming to a Hollywood premiere this week with a film that examines the struggles of female comedians, The Jerusalem Press reported Sunday.

Amy Schumer, whose stand-up comedy career catapulted her to fame and a critical acclaim, has written a book about female comedy.

In a trailer for the movie, titled ‘Catch Me if You Can,’ Schumer says, “I’ve seen a lot of female comic writers and I’ve seen them get fired and be mocked and criticized for being female.

And I’ve also seen a little bit of comedy that’s just as funny.”

In the trailer, Schumer talks about her experiences as a woman in comedy and how that made her realize that women don’t have to be so “cute” to be successful.

“Women don’t need to be this way,” Schumer says.

“They’re beautiful.

They’re just women.

And that’s what I want to do, and that’s why I’m going to make a film about women, and what it’s like to be a woman who’s funny.”

Schumer is making her film debut, as well, at a time when Hollywood is pushing for diversity in the entertainment industry.

In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal and a slew of sexual harassment allegations, a growing number of Hollywood figures have come forward, including producer Harvey Weinstein, actress Ashley Judd, director James Toback, and writer Judd Apatow.

Schumer, whose new book ‘Catching Me if I Can’ has sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S., told The Jerusalem Review that she has had a hard time getting roles, even though she is the first female comedian in Hollywood to be nominated for an Oscar.

Schumbys book is set in the early 2000s, when Amy and her friend, Lisa, were roommates at a college townhouse.

Amy was a freshman, and Lisa was a sophomore, when she decided to move into the townhouse with her boyfriend.

They were a tight-knit group.

“We had the best friends we ever had,” Amy said in the trailer.

“And it just wasn’t like a normal friendship, it was something else.

It was so special, and it just didn’t happen.”

As a freshman in college, Amy became friends with Lisa’s best friend, Taylor.

The two would go to parties together, drink, and have sex.

Amy described it as a “wild party,” and Taylor later said in a deposition that they were a “team.”

Amy says that Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, Joe, had sex with Lisa during one of the parties, and she also claimed that Taylor had sex on multiple occasions with Joe.

Amy said that she thought Taylor was “the nicest person on campus.”

“She was so sweet,” she said in an interview with the Review.

“She would always get into trouble.

She would always have to get expelled, but she would always go to college.”

Amy also said that Lisa had a lot to say, including how Taylor was obsessed with her.

“The two of them were having sex, and I thought it was a very sexy thing to do,” Amy says in the video.

Schultz, who is Jewish, said that when she first moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s, there was a lot more attention on women in the film industry, but that now it’s much more accepted.

“I think the more attention there is on women, the more people are accepting of it and the more diverse the talent base becomes,” she says.

“I’ve had a little hard time with that,” Schumer told the Review in the interview.

“As far as Hollywood is concerned, we have a lot less tolerance for women than we used to have.

I’ve been in this business for 30 years, and if you’re not a woman, you don’t get to go to this business.”

Schultz’s film, which opens in theaters on Wednesday, comes as Hollywood continues to grapple with the sexual harassment and assault allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Last week, Weinstein resigned from his position as a producer on ‘The Walk,’ a film starring Amy Schumer.

Schumer has come out publicly in support of Weinstein, calling him a “disgrace” for his behavior.

Schuman said in her interview with The Jerusalem Film Review that her book is “a book about me as a person and a woman.”

“And I’m not trying to change my behavior or my words or my jokes,” she continued.

“But I am saying that if I want this movie to be true to me and true to the people who love me, then I have to say that, yes, I am a woman and I am willing to put up with the insults and the attacks on me.”

Amy Schumer has been outspoken in her support of women and the LGBTQ community, including her
