Bob Marle is back with another comedy special, “Bob Marley and the Great Pretenders,” which premieres on HBO in November.
The special will be co-written by Marley, with the script written by his friend, the late Marlon Brando.
Marley’s son, Nick, will also be on board.
In addition to Marley in the cast, the special will feature new comedy talent from the HBO roster, including John Mulaney, John Mulvihill, Mike Myers, Michael Cera, Jason Segel, Adam McKay, and Paul Feig.
Marley is also one of the creators of the Bob Marleys’ Club for Comedy, an event that has grown into a global charity that raises awareness and funds for children with cancer.
He was also one half of the team that brought “Mystery Science Theater 3000” to HBO.
Marle will make his Broadway debut with a revival of “Marley and Me,” which is set to open in November on Broadway.
