Liverpool manager Jose Mourinho was at a party at the end of the season, when he was drinking, and decided to play a game of “chump” with some friends.
Mourinho said he didn’t think he was going to win the game, and his friends said they would.
“The next day I had the first time in my life that I won the game,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“I went to the club and played the game.
I was so proud of myself, and I felt good.”
He added: “The night after I won I said to my mates, ‘You have to win this game.
It will give me something to do.'”
After the game Mourinho had a drink with his former Chelsea teammate Dylan Fowler and a group of people.
“My mate Dylan told me: ‘I’ve won the first game of the Champions League against Chelsea.
This is my chance.
If you win this, I’ll give you a big hug.
I don’t care what you do in the dressing room, or on the pitch, you have to play well.'”
Mourinho said the win was a great moment for him.
“Now I’m going to try to win more games,” he said.
“I think we are going to do well, and we are a team that can do great things.
We have great players who have a lot of experience, but we also have young players who can learn from each other and improve.”
You need to be strong and to fight hard for every single day.
You have to be realistic, and you have a bit of an ego to go out there, and it’s all about the fans.
I think the fans have always supported us.
